En uygun çark tasarımı ile bir santrifüj pompa performansının iyileştirilmesi
Performance enhancement of a centrifugal pump by optimal impeller design

Bu çalışmada santrifüj tipi bir pompa çarkının belirlenen parametre ve bunların seviyeleri arasından, en iyi verim, basma yüksekliği ve debiyi sağlayacak olan değerleri Taguchi yöntemi kullanılarak deneysel olarak tespit edilmiştir. Böylece belirlenen şartlarda optimum bir çark tasarımı elde edilmiştir. Yapılan deneysel tasarımda kanat sayısı, çıkış açısı, çıkış çapı ve çıkış genişliği tasarım parametreleri olarak tespit edilmiş ve buna göre 9 çark geometrisi belirlenmiş, imal edilmiş ve pompa deney düzeneğinde test edilmiştir. Testler sonucunda her bir çarkın kullanıldığı pompaya ait karakteristik ve verim eğrileri elde edilmiş, bu test sonuçları kullanılarak hesaplanan sinyal/gürültü oranları sayesinde tüm alternatif tasarımlar tahmin edilerek optimum tasarımlar belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca yapılan varyans analizleri yardımıyla her bir parametrenin verim, basma yüksekliği ve debi üzerindeki etkileri de hesaplanmıştır.

In the study, the parameters and their levels of the impeller of a centrifugal pump were predicted provided the best efficiency, head and flow rate by using Taguchi design of experimental method. An optimal impeller design was obtained under the specified condition in this way. Number of vanes, vane outlet angle, impeller outlet diameter, impeller outlet width, were determined as design parameters and thus 9 different impeller are designed with the design of experimental method, manufactured and tested.  Characteristic and efficiency curves of pumps were draw after the tests. Optimal impeller designs were predicted calculating signal/noise rates of the test data over all alternative designs. In addition, the effect of each individual parameter on the results, which are efficiency, head and flow rate, were determined by a variance of analysis.
