TERATOLOGIC EFFECTS OF BISPHENOL A ON ZEBRAFISH (Danio rerio)

Zebrafish (Danio rerio) has easy reproductive capacity and transparent embryos and therefore generally preffered for scientific studies as a vertebrate model. Because of bisphenol A is produced too much and used for making plastics, many organisms including human are exposed to this substance. Bisphenol A has estrogenic activity and thus it effects fertility. So, in our study, effects of low doses of bisphenol A (4mg/L and 8 mg/L) on embryo and larva development was investigated.
